PROJECTS

Here are a couple of projects that I am most proud of. I have spent a relentlessly dedicated amount of time researching, educating myself and finalizing projects. My attention to detail and ability to work on large tasks has helped me thrive in higher education and the workplace.

GRANT PROPOSAL

I recently took a proposal writing course as part of my Master's curriculum. The class project was to create a realistic grant based on a company of my own creation. I received an A in the course and successfully developed a 14-page proposal. This project encapsulates my experience in grant writing and shows the capabilities I have in this area. The proposal demanded a significant amount of research, development, time management and attention to detail.

API DOCUMENTATION

WEBSITE DESIGN

I worked in a team through the STC Arizona Chapter to develop a website based on lessons covered in a series of (API) documentation webinars. As a self-driven and teachable individual, I am passionate about educating myself on the latest technical communication techniques. This class provided instruction for technical communicators and students who wanted to learn more about documenting Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs. We used Tom Johnson’s Documenting APIs, a Guide for Technical Writers as our course material. We developed an example API business model website using course covered coding techniques.
